“I grew up in Romania and was 10 years old when my parents decided to move to Germany in order to offer my brother and me a better future. My dad always told me, "If you want to be an artist, you'll probably first be successful when you're dead."
I thought that if I studied advertising, I could have both: embrace my creativity and earn good money. When I started working in the field though, I had to admit that neither of these things really happened... Instead, I felt trapped in a hamster wheel with overtime and not feeling like I was living at my fullest potential.
“Luckily” I had a long drive to work everyday and started listening to audiobooks. I always knew I wanted more from life, but first when I listened to Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki I consciously decided to also do something about it. Within half a year I listened to more audiobooks than I had read in my entire life, defined what that “more” looks like for myself, tried out a bunch of things to get there, was completely broke in between, but got up again and finally got into real estate.
At the age of 24, I bought my first small rental apartment, which still pays for itself through rental income today. Since then, I have acquired more real estate, started a co-investment partnership, and founded my own real estate company.
I’m not at the end of my journey yet and still work as a Marketing Manager on the site but I know I’ll get there and I also know I’m not alone on this journey looking for more in life. This is when Motivational Art was born.
First I just wanted to start painting again and then I thought, why not combine it with my journey and inspire other people as well? Motivational Art is for anyone who also wants to achieve more in life and is open for a daily dose of inspiration.
Because I know myself how quickly negative thoughts and self-doubt can spread. We need to constantly feed ourselves with positivity to stay on track of our dreams even when challenging times are coming.All we need to be successful and reach our next level, is already within us. And sometimes we just need to be reminded of that. I hope that Motivational Art can also be an inspiration for you to not let yourself be deterred from your path by anything and can reach your full potential.”
